²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ's Outstanding Alumni Awards are designed to celebrate the career and community achievements of our graduates and supporters. These annual awards provide an opportunity to honour the quality and expertise of ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ's alumni and friends.
Nominate a ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ alum today
Nominations for the 2024 Outstanding Alumni Awards are now closed. However, nominations a will be reviewed and considered for the 2025 awards. Nominations are kept on file and brought forward for consideration for three years following the original submission date, with the option to withdraw at any time.

Samantha Rematore
Community Contribution
Meet Samantha, a proud graduate of ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ's Health Unit Coordinator program! She's making a difference at St. Paul’s Hospital by spearheading initiatives to improve patient care and elevate the community environment. Samantha also generously volunteers her time to support ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ students as they pursue their own careers in healthcare.
Ali Rajabi Memar
Career Success
Meet Ali, a ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ graduate of the LPN & BSN programs, who continues to inspire and support nursing graduates at Providence Health. From Clinical Mentor to volunteer speaker, Ali shares his journey from student to professional, offering invaluable insights and encouragement to ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ students.
Talita Zampieri Lima Mendes
Career Success
Meet Talita, an international student from Brazil, whose journey led her to Canada. Despite the challenges, she showed unwavering commitment to her cosmetology studies, later opening two successful Salon and Spa businesses. Talita also provides study and mentorship opportunities for ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ students.
Lloyd Taganahan
One to Watch
Meet Chef Lloyd, a passionate Red Seal chef who made history as the first Pinoy Chef in Vancouver to earn a Michelin Recommendation at Archer Restaurant. He mentors ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ practicum students, shines in local food blogs, and fosters a vibrant and healthy kitchen culture.
