Apprentice
Once you have submitted your application on EducationPlanner BC and received registration information from ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ, follow these steps to register for apprenticeship training.
Get Ready
Collect these things before you begin:
- Your application confirmation email
- Email from ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ with instructions on how to log in and register
- Your ID number. This is mandatory
- Your personal information, including a valid email address
- Your ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ ID number
- Credit card or banking information
- The course reference number (CRN) of the course you want to register into

If you are new or returning to ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ after more than 3 years, use the How to Register for Courses Guide for New Students.
If you have registered at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ within the last 3 years, use the How to Register for Courses Guide for Returning Students.
Returning students can also follow these instructions:
Step 1
Set up your my²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ login:
- Go to
- Enter your student ID and password
- If this is your first time logging in, your initial password will use your birthdate in this format: ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵMMDDYY# (“²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ” plus your birthday (MMDDYY) plus hashtag ("#"). For example, if your birthday is January 30, 1995, your initial temporary password will be ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ013095#. After your first login, you will be prompted to create a new, secure password
- The first time you go into My Account, you will be prompted to setup Self Service Password Reset and Multifactor Authentication(MFA). Check our step-by-step guide to MFA set up

Step 2
- Click My Account - enter your student ID and password
- Click Register for Classes and View Schedule
- Select a term:
- Terms are:
- Winter: January - April
- Spring: April - June (spring EAL/Pathways courses)
- Spring/Summer: May - August
- Fall: September - December
- Terms are:
- Confirm your registration status permits registration.
- Check for Permit Overrides
- If the Permit Override section shows a CRN (course registration number), write it down or copy it. You will need it to register.
- Select the Registration tab at the top of your screen
- Click Register for Courses - if your term does not show, select a term
- Choose a registration tab
- Find Classes: Use this if you don’t know your CRNs (Course Reference Number).
- Choose a subject area or course number.
- Click Search.
- Find the class(es) in which you want to register.
- Click Add.
- Click Submit.
- Enter CRNs: Use this if you know your CRNs
- Click on the Enter CRNs tab.
- Enter the CRN(s).
- Click Add to Summary.
- Click Submit.
- Block: This tab only shows if you have been pre-assigned to a Block to register in
- Find Classes: Use this if you don’t know your CRNs (Course Reference Number).
- View your tuition and fees
- Click Tuition and Fees at the top corner of your registration summary
- Make your fee payment
- Go to the Student Profile tab
- Click Pay Fees/Installments
- Click Pay Now
- Choose your payment method:
- Option 1: Select 'Click here' to pay by Flywire and pay a 2.5% merchant fee, or
- Option 2: Pay using your online bank account. Add ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ as a 'Payee' and use your ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ student ID number as the 'account number.'
Step 3
Provide proof of payment:
1. Make your payment by the due date
- If you are registering more than two months before the start of class:
- $200 non-refundable deposit must be paid within 48 hours of registering or your registration will be cancelled.
- The remainder of your fees must be paid at least two months before the start of class, or your registration will be cancelled.
- If you are registering less than two months before the start of class:
- Full fees (including a $200 non-refundable deposit) are required at the time of registration.
2. Provide proof of payment:
- Send an email to apprentice@vcc.ca that includes:
- A screenshot of your confirmed payment transaction
- Your ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ ID number
- Your full name
- Note: If you do not send this information within 48 hours, your registration may be automatically cancelled.
Step 4
View your schedule:
- Go to Student Profile
- Click the Register for Classes and View Schedule
- Click View Schedule
